The concept of plot is complemented by the different types of plot structure, which allow for sophisticated and meaningful narrative editing. We also look back at the history of narratology and the contributions of various theorists such as Vladimir Propp, Greimas and Souriau.
The concepts of character and actantial roles are enriched, making it possible to represent complex worlds and intricate situations that are more realistic, more subtle and more dramatically powerful.
This level also enables us to tackle new dimensions of storytelling, such as media, genre, mood, tone and register, style, and the management of chronology and rhythm.
